Please read these terms carefully before using our services
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Blue Line Plumbing Ltd ("Blue Line Plumbing", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use our services.

In these Terms:
All quotations provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the information provided by the Customer and may be subject to revision if additional issues are discovered once work commences.
Fixed-price quotations are binding once accepted by both parties in writing or by email. No work will be commenced without the Customer's explicit approval of the quoted price.
Call-out charges are applicable for emergency visits outside of standard business hours (Monday–Friday 8am–6pm). These charges will be communicated clearly before any engineer is dispatched.
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate unless otherwise stated.
Bookings may be made by telephone, email, or via our online enquiry form. A booking is confirmed when you receive written or verbal confirmation from Blue Line Plumbing.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, we require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for standard appointments. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to £50 to cover engineer travel and preparation costs.
Emergency call-outs that are cancelled after an engineer has been dispatched will be charged the applicable call-out fee.
Payment is due upon completion of Works unless a separate payment arrangement has been agreed in writing in advance. We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, and all major credit and debit cards.
For Works exceeding £500 in value, we reserve the right to require a deposit of up to 30% of the total quoted price before work commences, particularly where materials need to be specially ordered.
Interest may be charged on overdue invoices at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
All Works carried out by Blue Line Plumbing are covered by a 12-month workmanship guarantee from the date of completion. This guarantee covers defects arising directly from our workmanship and does not cover:
Manufacturer warranties on parts and materials are separate and are subject to the manufacturer's own terms and conditions.
The Customer agrees to:
Blue Line Plumbing carries £5,000,000 public liability insurance. Our liability to you shall not exceed the total value of the Works carried out, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or in cases of fraud.
We are not liable for any loss of earnings, consequential loss, or indirect damage arising from delays or defects in our work, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
We are not responsible for pre-existing faults or conditions in the property's plumbing, heating, or drainage systems that were not part of the agreed Works.
All gas work carried out by Blue Line Plumbing is performed by Gas Safe registered engineers in accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998. We will issue a Gas Safe certificate upon completion of all qualifying gas works. It is a legal requirement that all gas appliances and installations are carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us in the first instance at complaints@bluelineplumbing.co.uk or call 01322 952248. We aim to acknowledge all complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 14 days.
If we are unable to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may refer the matter to the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) dispute resolution service.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. The version of the Terms in force at the time you engage our services will apply to your contract with us. Updated Terms will be published on our website.
