What We Do

Expert Toilet Repair Services

A constantly running toilet can waste over 200 litres of water per day — adding significantly to your water bill if you're on a meter. A wobbly toilet, a cracked cistern, a blocked pan, or a faulty flush mechanism are all problems our plumbers diagnose and fix quickly. No fault is too small or too complex for our experienced team.

We repair all common toilet faults including failed fill valves (causing constant running), worn flush valves and siphons, cracked or leaking cisterns, slow or incomplete flushes, toilet rocking on the floor (often indicating a failed wax ring or corroded floor bolts), and blocked pans. We carry replacement parts for all major toilet brands on our vans, enabling most repairs to be completed in a single visit.

For concealed cistern toilets (back-to-wall or wall-hung), internal components can be accessed and replaced without disturbing the tiling or structure. Our engineers are experienced in servicing Geberit, Grohe, Roca, and other popular concealed cistern systems, replacing flush plates, fill valves, and flush valves quickly and cleanly.

If a toilet is beyond economical repair — for example, a cracked pan or irreparably damaged cistern — we'll provide an honest assessment and a competitive quote for a full replacement. We never recommend unnecessary work, and always aim to keep your costs as low as possible.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my toilet keep running after flushing?

A constantly running toilet is almost always caused by a faulty fill valve (which isn't shutting off when the cistern is full) or a worn flush valve seal that's allowing water to leak from the cistern into the pan. Both are straightforward repairs that we fix routinely. Don't ignore it — it can waste hundreds of litres of water per day.

My toilet cistern is leaking from the bottom. What's causing it?

A leak from the base of a close-coupled cistern is usually caused by a failed rubber sealing washer between the cistern and pan. This is a standard repair involving draining and removing the cistern, replacing the washer, and re-fitting. We carry these seals in all common sizes on our vans.

Can you unblock a toilet?

Yes. We use professional-grade plungers and drain rods to clear toilet blockages quickly. For more stubborn blockages deep in the drain, we can use a high-pressure water jetter. If the blockage is caused by a structural issue in the drain, we'll identify this and advise on the next steps.

My toilet wobbles when I sit on it. Is this dangerous?

A wobbly toilet should be repaired promptly. Movement can cause the seal between the toilet base and soil pipe to fail, leading to sewer gas escaping into the room or wastewater leaking beneath the floor. The cause is usually loose fixing bolts or a deteriorated pan connector — both are straightforward repairs.

Can you repair a concealed cistern toilet?

Yes. Concealed cistern systems (Geberit, Grohe, Roca etc.) have a service panel that allows access to the internal components without removing tiles. We replace fill valves, flush valves, flush plates, and actuation mechanisms on all major concealed cistern brands.
